  • Oral presentation
Oral sessions provide an opportunity for several speakers to present their findings/papers in a formal setting as part of the parallel symposia or during an oral paper session. Symposia consist of 3 presentations of 25 minutes and 1 oral abstract presentation of 15 minutes, all including Q&A. Oral sessions consist of only abstract presentations of 15 minutes. These sessions are put together by the Scientific Committee from the top-rated abstracts.
  • Poster presentation
Most of the accepted abstracts are presented in poster sessions (only printed poster). The paper posters will be displayed in the poster area of the congress. Poster sessions are scheduled at the end of each day (21, 22 and 23 May – subject to change). The poster presenter is requested to be at her/his poster during the presentation time

During the submission process you select one of the presentation types below.

The Scientific Committee will review your abstract submission and decide whether to give an oral or poster presentation. In both cases, we assume you are able and willing to present your work during the congress.
  • Poster presentation only
If you prefer this type of presentation, your abstract will not be reviewed for an oral presentation during the conference.
  • Oral presentation only
If you don’t want to present your abstract as a poster after it is rejected as an oral presentation, please choose your preference for oral presentation only. With this status, we will withdraw your abstract automatically if the Scientific Committee decides otherwise.
